Universities

Since 2016, fine art faculties and art academies are invited to participate in the event with a leading role. The aim is to foster the dialogue between emerging artists, established artists, professionals from the cultural sector and the general public. Each participating center should reflect about the past and the present of contemporary art, as well as the role played by its institution. And at the same time, they will be showing internationally its formative potential. We encourage fine arts academies and universities from all over the world to participate bringing with them their best art students, graduated artists and teachers.

During the last edition ARTSevilla 16, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Camberwell College of Arts in London, Berlin University of the Arts, Escola Superior Artística do Porto, Chinese Friendly International (with participants from Minzu University of China and the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing), as well as Universidad de Sevilla were participants in this main exhibition.

The exhibition space, called Sala Santa Inés, is an international showcase for new generations of artists. It will be a open space for experienced veterans and new artists that want to share their new lines of work and growing projects. This is about sharing and feeling: a place open to experience and coexistence by proposing new methods of participation and inclusion.
