Drawing and illustration evolve dramatically. The line between the two disciplines are blurred at times highlighting the changing nature of our days and sometimes diffuse perception of what a work of art is.

Understanding drawing just like the first expression of the artistic process or ilustration as a mere plastic representation that supports a text is to stay at the surface of what those two creative fields are.On the other hand, the drawing-graphics, illustration-digital border has broken to the extent that new media and the medium are fully incorporated to the current art world. Therefore, why not admit that Contemporary Drawing is also a transmitter of a messages  beyond the practical fact of graphics on paper and that the Illustration is worthy of a plastic intention beyond the message to be transmitted.

The drawing is and always will be the genesis of any work of art and Illustration artistic expression of a concept, ARTSGráfica wants to focus on the current situation of both disciplines as a ultimate creative expression full of message and skills that communicate for themselves.
